A Bit of Me.
Away from the hangar.

The Human Element
Maintenance work demands patience and precision, and the days are long. These logs capture the moments around the hangar and the tarmac, exploring Guyana, capturing light, and keeping balance.

/ Professional Summary
Trained in the hangar,
specialising in avionics.
Final-year aircraft maintenance engineering student at the Art Williams & Harry Wendt Aeronautical Engineering School. Since 2022 I have worked under supervision across five Guyanese aviation organisations on scheduled and unscheduled inspections, defect investigation, component removal and installation, and the maintenance documentation that closes each task.
I am recording avionics-related practical experience toward a GCAA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence in the E category, and I am seeking a trainee, apprentice, graduate or junior aircraft maintenance position. Alongside the hangar I build the operations and maintenance software a Guyanese charter operator runs on daily, which is a direct advantage wherever maintenance meets digital technical records, data and modern integrated aircraft systems.

CurrentAircraft Maintenance Technician · Georgetown, Guyana
- Support licensed maintenance personnel through scheduled and unscheduled inspections, defect investigation, component removal and installation, and preventive maintenance carried out to approved procedures under GCAA regulations.
- Supervised exposure to aircraft electrical, instrument, communication and navigation systems, including avionics fault isolation, wiring and connector work, and the technical documentation that closes each task.
- Line and hangar work on a fleet flying Guyana's interior routes, where turnaround pressure is constant and defects must be found, recorded and cleared correctly the first time.

JAGS Aviation Management System
Private BuildSole engineer of the internal platform a Guyanese charter operator runs its day on: reservations, flight following, crew and aircraft assignment, compliance records, and the passenger lounge display board. Live in daily operational use, supporting technical records, maintenance tracking, flight scheduling, crew compliance and operational reporting.
Register-Level AHRS
A self-taught embedded avionics build: an attitude and heading reference system driven at register level on MPU-6050 hardware, streaming live attitude data to a browser display. Sensor calibration, drift correction and real-time data handling, worked out on the bench.
